Malaysian PR agency wins big at global awards

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian public relations (PR) agency Perspective Strategies took home three gold awards in the categories of Agency Marketing/Self Promotion, Events and Communication to Gen-Z, one silver award in the Pro Bono Work category and one bronze award in the Sustainability category at the 12th Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) Global Best Practice Awards recently.

The global awards ceremony took place in San Francisco, in conjunction with the Public Relations Global Network Fall Conference 2023.

Gloucestershire marketing agency delivers the UK’s largest cyber awards ceremony

PinPoint Media, with south west offices located in Cheltenham, recently delivered a huge event in the National Cyber Awards 2023 — with great success.

Hosted in London on Monday 25 September 2023, the event saw over 400 high-profile cyber professionals from across all aspects of the sector, from public to private. Its events team received excellent feedback from guests and winners for a seamlessly smooth and enjoyable ceremony.

The largest accolades for the cyber industry, the fifth edition of the National Cyber Awards featured categories including Innovation and Defence; Policing and Law Enforcement; Education and Learning; Cyber in Business; and Public Service.

25 individual awards were up for grabs, including the Cyber Defence Product of the Year; the Cyber Policing Team of the Year; the Cyber University of the Year; and the Cyber Business of the Year — receiving the seal of approval from the top of the government, there was even a Prime Minister’s Award for Cyber, supported by the Cabinet Office.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak MP said: ‘The National Cyber Awards are a wonderful way to reward, celebrate and showcase the work of those who are committed to keeping us safe online.’

Cheltenham marketing agency wins big at regional enterprise awards

Cheltenham’s Content Chef celebrated its triumph alongside a selection of marketing businesses from the south west in October 2023 – winning the ‘Best Emerging Digital Marketing Agency’ award at the 2023 SME News’ Southern Enterprise Awards.

These awards acknowledge and celebrate
the most deserving and best performing small and medium enterprises that are
dedicated to serving their clients and customers across the UK.

Over the past two years, Content Chef has helped various local and global businesses, brands and
agencies build an online presence and make ‘more dough’ through authentic
storytelling — with its services ranging from copywriting, SEO optimisation, blog writing and social media management, to email marketing, paid social ads, PPC (pay-per-click), website design
and content marketing strategising.

The Content
Chef brand started in 2017 as a solo freelancing adventure — but as things
continued to grow through the pandemic, 
founder and director, Daryl Charman, decided to let the stabilisers off and transition into a limited company in
April 2021.

Being Cheltenham-based itself, the company has a real commitment to working with the Gloucestershire community and local businesses. The team has worked with Sef Steakhouse — one of the newest restaurants to join Cheltenham’s Quadrangle — since day one, helping it to grow into a thriving and popular business.

Alongside this, Content Chef has recently started working with the well-loved Filipino restaurant Pyesta, helping its messages to resonate with its target audience and get them taking action, as well as several other exciting start-ups.

challenges of the pandemic, our agency continues to grow.’
