Hats off! Independent agent unveils marketing campaign

Independent estate agency Hat and Home has released a sneak peak of its 2023 brand marketing campaign.

Renowned for its distinctive advertising using hat imagery to portray its service proposition, this campaign follows suit.

The series of ads to be released over the next few months see Hat and Home’s signature bowler hat as the vehicle to telling the story of reasons why people move home.

The campaign is called ‘What Moves You?’

It features 3D models of hats representing reasons for moving. This includes a Lego themed hat to represent playrooms and a tree-shaped version for those seeking more green space.

The campaign can be seen across social media, print advertising, outdoor locations, online portals, email campaigns, in the company’s offices and website.

Founder Ben Gee said “It began with us asking our customers why they were moving.

“The reasons were never to do with money, or the market or climbing the property ladder. The reasons were to do with lifestyle and relationships and opportunity for new adventures.

“People told us about moving closer to family, about new additions, about moving-in together.

“We heard stories of amazing new jobs abroad and retirement plans by the coast. As estate agents we facilitate people’s moves but what we are really doing is playing a small part in getting them to the next milestone in their life journey.”
